Many people have been asking me what the next steps are in my life—what’s on the radar, what I’m excited for, and what’s coming next. So, I wanted to share the exciting adventures ahead for 2025, and I’d love for you to partner in prayer with me as I step into these new chapters!

I’m writing a book!

I must admit, I’ve been working on this book for years, but it never really went anywhere. Honestly i never thought my story was worth publishing. For a long time, I was just pretending to write something worth publishing. However, this blog has given me strength and clarity. I feel truly called to be an author! Along with the book I’ve been working on, I also feel led to write about my life and how I’ve seen God’s hand in it. I’m also thinking about creating a devotional, using the words God has given me to bless others. There are a few other ideas brewing as well! So, there’s a lot of exciting work ahead. But with that comes stress, as it requires a significant investment of time, finances, and discernment as I pour my heart into this project.

I’m going to be a camp counselor again!

Each year, I spend my time at camps for burn survivors, encouraging them to live their fullest lives. It’s such an honor to be part of that journey for young survivors. One camp, Miracle Burn Camp of Iowa, has been a huge part of my personal journey since I was 7 years old. It was the place where I first felt free to be myself and share my story without fear of judgment. One of my favorite memories from camp was during my last year as a camper. I sat with dozens of other campers during free time, sharing my experiences and answering questions. Some of the people I spoke with—who weren’t burn survivors—have come up to me afterward to share how much it helped them learn to love others more deeply and engage with people in a better way. What a true blessing!

I would love to start a podcast!

Im a big fan of podcasts and think it would be amazing to have my own, where I can share these same topics, answer questions, and invite guests to share their stories. It would take a lot of time, research, resources, and energy, but if the timing is right, I’m all in!

Speaking engagements

By the age of 5, I was already sharing my journey with others. My dream is to do more speaking engagements, whether to small groups on safety, with fire departments for burn awareness, at churches to share my testimony and preach, or with groups about trauma. I’m praying about what this looks like and hoping for the right opportunities to present themselves. This could also be an amazing way to use my Seminary final project (which is on trauma!) for good!

So how can you support me in this?

  1. Read, comment, share, and post about the blog.Every time people engage with the blog, it gets moved up in the algorithms, making it easier for others to find! Share it with your friends and family, and help spread the encouragement.

  2. Join my prayer team!It takes an army to make all of this happen, and I would love for you to be part of my prayer team! You can simply pray over the things shared in this blog or whatever is going on in my life. I’m still deciding whether I’ll send out an email to everyone, but I want to have an amazing prayer team surrounding this work!

  3. If you’re interested in booking a speaking engagement, shoot me an email!I’d love to come and share with your group or community!

  4. Support financially if you’re able. This work takes a lot of time, energy, and financial resources to bring to life. If you feel led to support, click the “Ways to Support” link and find the option that works best for you.

Thank you all for walking this journey with me. I can’t wait to see what God does with it all! To God be the Glory!

Welcome! I’m truly honored to have you here. This blog was born from a deep desire to inspire and uplift others, serving as a beacon of hope in challenging times. As a trauma survivor, I have had my fair share of challenges and obstacles. However, there was a reason I made it through each and every one of those moments. I always say, if I can help just one person with anything I have been through, then all the pain is worth it. Afterall, this is His Story not mine
