Faith after the Flames
Firefighters face challenges every single day. Whether it's responding to a house fire, a car accident, rescuing a pet from a tree (not again, you silly cat!), or assisting with traffic control, there’s always an element of the unknown. And with the unknown come questions — questions that are supposed to lead to answers. But sometimes, all you're left with are questions.
That’s where this program was born.
To offer closure.
To support healing.
To build strength — especially when the calls pile up and it feels like the job is hitting you like a backdraft.

Personal Testimony
At just four years old, I suffered burns over more than half of my body. My father, a former volunteer firefighter, knew exactly what to do—and thanks to his quick action, I survived against the odds, with less than a 5% chance of making it.
Since then, I’ve met thousands of others with burn injuries and stories as powerful and inspiring as mine. From house fires and car accidents to rescuing animals in distress, your work as firefighters doesn’t just save lives—it transforms them.
Thank you for being the difference in someone’s worst moment.
Thank you for showing up.
Thank you for saving lives like mine.

The Stats
Survival Rate for Burns: 96.8%
Behind every statistic is a story — of resilience, trauma, and often, survival against the odds. The 96.8% survival rate is a testament to the incredible work of firefighters, paramedics, burn surgeons, nurses, and everyone in between. But survival is only the beginning. Recovery—physical, emotional, and psychological—can take years.

You may Never Know
You may never know the full story of the lives touched by the fire you just battled. But hold on to faith and hope, knowing that your efforts did make a meaningful difference—for that family, for that moment, no matter the outcome.
