HE IS NOT HERE FOR HE HAS RISEN!
Today, I celebrate that the tomb is not empty—it's full.
Not full of a body, but full of everything that once held Me Captive.
It's full of my shame.
Full of my guilt.
Full of my sin, my sorrow, my fear, and my failures.
Full of the parts of me that were never meant to survive resurrection.
Because when Jesus rose, He didn’t just leave behind grave clothes—
He left behind everything that ever tried to bury *me*.
My darkness had no place in His light.
So it fled.
And it found a tomb to hide in.
The same tomb He walked out of in victory.
That tomb is now a landfill of grace.
A sacred space where my old self lies buried, never to rise again.
And because of that—
I walk free.
I walk new.
I walk in the light, not because of who I am,
but because of who He is.
Today I celebrate the resurrection of the One True King.
The only One who stepped into suffering willingly.
The only One who wore my shame so I could wear His righteousness.
The only One who didn’t just change my life—He resurrected it.
Death couldn't hold Him.
And now, it can't hold me either.
Thanks be to God!
The grave is full.
And my soul is free.
